Snohomish Fire / Rescue, whose ultimate
purpose is to protect
and serve our community, must ALWAYS be guided by
the principle that each and every person that we contact within the
realm of delivering our services --whether a fellow member of the
Fire Department, a resident of our Fire District or a visitor to our
great community -- shall be treated as our neighbor.
Our basic
organizational
behavior must be customer centered in all that we
plan; in all that we say; and in all that we do.
To attain this
attitude requires that each member understand his/her role in this
important principle by committing themselves:
- TO strive in
always providing our mission and number one priority of delivering
the BEST possible service to all people;
- TO treat all
people equally
and fairly -- with respect, kindness, patience and
consideration;
- TO always
be
nice -- trying to understand the perspectives, perceptions and
problems of each and every person as THEY see them;
- TO always
consider how you and what you are doing looks to others;
- TO avoid
disqualifying anyone with your qualifications;
- TO
continually improve our personal and organizational customer service
performance
