SNOHOMISH FIRE & RESCUE IS LOOKING FOR QUALIFIED PEOPLE
If your neighbor was in trouble wouldn’t you
want to do more than just watch? Of course you would. And we’d like
to offer a suggestion: become a volunteer firefighter. It’s a great
way to do something important for your community, and for yourself.
But to be a volunteer firefighter,
you’ll need more than just a desire to help people. You’ll also need
courage and dedication, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn new
skills and face new challenges. If you think you qualify for this
kind of commitment, come on down to the fire station and talk to us.
Watching can be a helpless feeling. We don't have to tell you what
kind of a feeling you’ll get from helping.
Snohomish Fire & Rescue
is always looking for Volunteer Firefighters. You must be in good
physical condition, have a high school diploma/GED, and reside
within Fire District #4 or the surrounding area. You must also have a
valid Washington State
driver’s license and a good driving record. If you qualify, click
here and fill out the requested information. Generally, the selection
process begins the first part of every year. At the beginning of the
process, a schedule will be sent out to people who express interest
in becoming a volunteer. If you have further questions, please email
our Training Division.
