NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
Snohomish County Fire District #4, has issued an Advertisement for Bids for a single contract that would include a new headquarters Fire Station #41, associated street and utility infrastructure improvements for a new Snohomish Public Safety & Civic Services Campus, and a new Fire Station #43 (add alternate).

CONTRACT SCOPE:
Base Bid: Project 1a. Fire Station #41
A new 22,000 square foot fire station located at 331 Pine Avenue, Snohomish, WA. Fire Station will be
the first building constructed on the site of the future Snohomish Public Safety & Civic Services Campus.
Building construction will be concrete slab on grade, wood frame with CMU and masonry veneer, fiber
cement siding, and low slope roofs with associated parapets. Site development for Fire Station #41 will
include but not be limited to, site grading and fill, new concrete and asphalt paving, new utilities, new
storm drainage systems, new landscaping, and construction of other site improvements.
Major utility infrastructure improvements for the greater Civic Campus are included in the “Civic Campus
Infrastructure Improvements” Project 1b (below).

Base Bid: Project 1b. Civic Campus Infrastructure Improvements
Infrastructure improvements for Fire Station #41 and the future Snohomish Public Safety & Civic
Services Campus include utility (storm, water, and sewer) line upgrades, underground power and
communication duct bank utilities and associated vaults. Street improvements include paving
restoration, new sidewalks, and a new access street.

Add Alternate Bid: Project 2. Fire Station #43
Once the new headquarters Fire Station #41 is complete, demolition of the existing Fire Station #43 and
construction of a new 11,000 square foot Fire Station #43 located at 1525 Avenue D, Snohomish, WA.
Building construction will be concrete slab on grade, wood frame with CMU and masonry veneer, fiber
cement siding, metal gable roofs and low slope roofs with associated parapets. New site development for
Fire Station #43 will include but not be limited to, site grading and fill, new concrete and asphalt paving,
new concrete retaining walls, new utilities, new storm drainage systems, new landscaping, and
construction of other site improvements.
Anticipated Fire Station #43 project start is in the Q3-Q4 range of 2026.

Project Estimate: The estimate for this contract (3 projects) is in the $32,000,000 - $35,000,000 range.

online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view,
print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off
tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda
and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be
automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda
