Did you know 3 out of 4 car seats are not used or installed correctly?
Snohomish County Fire District #4 can provide a FREE car seat and booster seat checks by appointment only. Our goal is to help educate new or even experienced caregivers on the safest way to travel with your children.
WE DO NOT INSTALL THE SEAT FOR YOU.
This service is available to anyone, not just those who live in our district.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

Each appointment will take anywhere from 20-40 minutes (depending on how many seats we will be going over).

The purpose of a car seat/booster seat check is to educate the caregiver on proper installment, current laws, and possible seat recalls.

Our Certified Car Seat Technician will inspect how the car seat arrived to the station and its installment method, then she will remove the seat for a closer inspection of the seat itself before she demonstrates installing the car seat. Then it will be your turn!
