Snohomish County Fire Protection District #4 regretfully announces the death of

Sharon L. Wilson on March 10th, 2019.

Sharon joined the Administrative Staff of the District in January of 1993 and retired in March of 2018, having served the last of her 25 years as Executive Assistant to retired Chief Mark Collins and then current Chief Ron Simmons.  Sharon recently returned to our District Family to serve Chief Simmons as a part-time employee on March 1st.

Sharon was 65 years old and is survived by her sons Kevin and Travis; sisters Judy and Margie; brothers, Roy and Jim; and beloved canine Zoey Wilson.  Sharon also leaves behind a huge fire service family.

Sharon was not only a valuable member of the staff for the department, but she participated in numerous community events over the years and served the public as though she was responding to calls to help those in distress.  She was as much a public servant as the rest of the District First Responders.

A memorial service is being planned for the near future and will be announced publicly.

-Chief Ron Simmons
